Norway I believe has a max life prison sentence of 21 years but even there they have ways of keeping the worst locked up indefinitely should it be required...

Norway I believe has a max life prison sentence of 21 years but even there they have ways of keeping the worst locked up indefinitely should it be required... And in the US we can sentence a person to 1,000 years in prison but it is subject to executive review where a Governor or the President (depending upon the case) can commute or pardon or even exonerate an offender. That isn't a "judical review" per se but it is a review under our criminal justice system.
