Yeah, but this one is still alive. It's so funny because I was watching a documentary called "The Rolling Stones Charlie ins My Darling - Ireland 1965" and Keith Richards was still alive back then. I'm not quite sure when Keith Richard actually died because the Rolling Stones continues and he keeps on playing guitar.
Ironically Keith Richards dispels the myth that drug and alcohol abuse will kill you. Apparently, if properly managed, drug and alcohol abuse appears to make a person immortal. ROFLMAO

LOL, you've got a point. Maybe Richards is pickled?

Hello everyone in the bar! Afternoon Smartie, nice to see you here. So many familiar faces. Does anyone have some cake? And candles? 30 of them, please. It was my birthday yesterday and I feel old. Good thing I look like I'm 19, eh? Instead of being only as old as you feel, I am only as old as I look, which means I won't really be 30 for at least another decade. LOL Might tell ya'll, in case you don't have Facebook, that I am now a karate blue belt, as of Wednesday last week. Hardest night of my life and I lost 1.2 kilos that night, which is around 2 pounds, I think. So pull up a chair, sodas all round, and lets cut the cake!!!

Sorry but I can't share in the cake (a gift of type II diabetes from my government during my service in Vietnam) but I will join in the celebration. For you a gift of music that is about getting older and then looking back at our past written by Bob Dylan and performed by the Byrds. The lyrics touch on so much truth related to being a "know it all" when we're young only to find a little wisdom as we get a little older. Or then again it might be about us rationalizing injustice as we get older.
My Back Pagers ~ Written by Bob Dylan
Crimson flames tied through my ears Rollin' high and mighty trapped countless fire and flaming roads Using ideas as my maps "We'll meet on edges, soon," said I Proud 'neath heated brow. Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.
Half-wracked prejudice leaped forth "Rip down all hate," I screamed Lies that life is black and white Spoke from my skull. I dreamed Romantic facts of musketeers Foundationed deep, somehow. Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.
In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand At the mongrel dogs who teach Fearing not I'd become my enemy In the instant that I preached sisters led by confusion boats Mutiny from stern to bow. Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.
Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.
Yes, my guard stood hard when abstract threats Too noble to neglect Deceived me into thinking I had something to protect Good and bad, I define these terms Quite clear, no doubt, somehow. Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.

^no but I have had a few moments when I wondered if I'd lost my marbles! Last week I forgot where I parked my car. Parked it in the carpark at work and I thought I parked it across the road like I normally do. About to report my car stolen when I remembered. Embarrassing as heck, that was!

How about a better "lost car" story?
In the 1970's when I lived in SoCal a friend and I went to an Angels baseball game. I wrote down the location (isle and parking spot) that is on the light pole in the parking lot. At the end of the game we went there but the car was nowhere to be found. We walked up and down our isle and the adjacent isles and it wasn't there. I swear to god. We knew it had to have been stolen but it was a POS so we couldn't figure out why anyone would steal it. After about an hour the parking lot basically cleared out and we went back to the light pole and there it was exactly where I'd parked it.
I swear to this day that someone stole it, drove it around, and then returned it to exactly the same parking spot. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!! LOL
