Obamacare was a huge lie thrust on the American people. And it's only going to get worse. He's raising costs of healthcare and putting the burden of that on the middle class.
".......claims of the low costs of Obamacare have been shown blatantly false by reports, including by Medicare’s expert actuaries, who have reported again that the bill will increase health costs by $621 billion. Yes, it is true that Obamacare improperly imposed the cost burden on working Americans but the costs of health care must be paid for. I'm waiting for the Republicans to counter with a proposal to shift this cost burden to the wealthy that can afford the carry the additional costs to the nation.
And yes, the costs of health care in the United States is going to rise. That is to be expected as those actually needing medical services are able to obtain them. Simply taking the position that those in need of health care services should be denied isn't really a valid argument IMHO.
Once again, if Republicans have a better plan that will cover the health care needs of ALL Americans then it's about time they propose it. Leaving people on the street corner to die isn't the solution.
Think of this simple fact. If Congress would have fully funded Medicaid so that it had the money to provide health care for any American that needed health care but couldn't afford it then we wouldn't have had a health care crisis in 2009.
It was the failure of Congress to fund Medicaid adequately for over 40 years that lead to the beast we call Obamacare today.

I will clarify my position. I don't like "Obamacare" but it addressed a health care crisis in America. The health care crisis was very real and we know exactly why the problem existed.
In 1965 Congress passed Medicaid with the Mission Statement that it would provide health care services for those that couldn't afford them. Because of a lack of adequate funding by Congress (Democrats and Republicans) it never met that Mission Statement and millions of Americans that need heath care were not being treated. Had Medicaid fulfilled it's Mission Statement there wouldn't have been a health care crisis to deal with.
What is unacceptable to me is simply repealing "Obamacare" and creating that health care crisis all over again. I would like to see constructive proposals that remove the negative impacts of "Obamacare" but that also ensure that every American that needs health care services but can't afford them will receive them.
The Republicans have yet to address the "health care" crisis that would re-emerge of "Obamacare" was repealed. They need to address providing for the health care needs of those that can't afford them and they haven't made any proposals to accomplish that. When they do then I will listen.
"Obamacare" is bad but it's not as bad as people not receiving health care services when they need them but can't afford it.
