Welcome Herk! I'm glad you found us. We can note that we're all refugees from somewhere.
As JP5 noted we're very much dedicated to freedom of speech here and hope to develop the best possible forum based upon member involvement. We don't even have any "moderators" yet and just the Grand Poobah (Cenydd) overseeing what's going on so far.
We're still quite small (38 members at last count) but growing based upon word of mouth so feel free to invite others that you believe will make good founding members. As I've pointed out to others it's best to look for those with opposing political opinions that you've had respectful discussions with elsewhere. A forum thrives on diverse political opinions.
Anyway, enjoy yourself. I find myself spending more and more time here as opposed to other forums I'm a member of as the discussions develop. I know that I'm having a lot of fun with old friends such as JP5 where we hold opposing views on some topics. I respect no one more than JP5 and love our different political opinions.
And that is what this place is about.
