It's been almost a week since I visited either of the two other political forums I'm a member of. We're still small, about 43 members at last check although not all have posted yet, but I'm finding excellent subjects to address on the threads being created here. As many know I like to elaborate my opinions as opposed to simply posting unsupported one-liners so my posts take time to compose. I often spend more time searching out links to support my political opinions than I do actually typing. With limited time I've had all I can keep up with here.
What I hope to see in the future would be Republicans/conservatives and Democrats/liberals expressing their own political opinions in the "Conservatism" and "Liberalism" forums such as I've done in the Libertarianism forum. I don't accept every political position of the Libertarian Party as being representative of my personal libertarian beliefs and I'm not shy about pointing that out. I don't believe anyone but an idiot would accept a "Party Platform" as being 100% reflective of what they personally believe and they shouldn't be afraid of addressing that publically on the forum. I would highly encourage them to do this so that other members are aware of it and don't stereotype a member based upon a Party Platform.
Yes, I will return to those forums in the future. There are those that I still want to invite to join us here but I've found little of interest there these days to actually address from a political opinion standpoint.
