The only viable resolution that has ever been put forward is the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002 which addresses all issues based upon United Nations resolutions and International Law. www.al-bab.com/arab/docs/league/peace02.htmIsrael's position is that all United Nations resolutions and International Law must be ignored to achieve peace and that will never happen. The Arab Peace Initiative ensures a viable and lasting peace between Israel, the Palestinians, and the Arab nations.

The "Peace Talks" end today and all that is being addressed are the scheduling of future meetings over the next nine months. None of the contentious issues are being addressed.
Once again I will state that based upon history the Israelis are going to prevent any resolution to the problem because they will refuse to comply with United Nations resolutions that have attempted to bring peace to the region since 1948. It has always been Israel that has blocked a peaceful settlement of the "Palestinian" issue and the issue of peace in the region. The goals of Zionism are not conductive to a peace accord and never have been and that remains the fundamental problem.
What Zionist Jews seem to fail to understand is that demographic projections reflect that in the not to distant future Israel will cease to be a Jewish state. By 2048 the non-Jewish citizenry of Israel will become the majority. It won't be long after that when Muslim citizens of Israel will have the majority vote and they will probably vote to end Israel as a Jewish nation. Unless the Zionist Jews resort to "Nazi-like" tactics of murder and expulsion of the non-Jewish citizens of Israel the power of the vote is going to be with the non-Jewish Muslims in Israel and Jewish dominance will come to an end. It's a simple matter of "numbers" and it's going to happen in Israel just like the dominance of "whites" in American is going to come to an end as minorities will become the majority in the future.
When I look at all of the countries in the Middle East there is a fundamental problem with them all and that is that they are based upon invidious criteria that divides the people. Any nation based upon race, religion, ethnic heritage, social class, or other invidious criteria that divides a nation into "US" and "THEM" is inherently tyrannical. The "US" which is the group in power will always violate the Inalienable Right of "THEM" that are the minority. It is inherent when the government is founded upon invidious division of the People of the Nation. It's bad enough when this division is a de facto division based upon the people themselves but when it's embodied in the actual laws of a nation it's an unstoppable force of oppression and the violation of the Inalienable Rights of the Person.
A Palestinian State will be no less despotic than the Israeli State. We already know that will happen.

While the Israelis continue to try and scuttle the peace negotiations by authorizing more illegal immigration into the occupied territories the Palestinians have been reaching out in a good faith effort to the Israelis.
Historically the Israelis have opposed a peace settlement with the Palestinians because it would require giving up their Zionist objectives of illegally occupying as much of Palestine as possible. Since 1967 when Israel launched an offensive war against Egypt, Jordan, and Syria with the sole intent of territorial acquisition the Israelis have refused to comply with international law that prohibits a nation from allowing it's civilian population to immigrate to territory under it's military control.
I continue to doubt any sincere effort by Israel today to reach a peace accord that would require them to withdraw from the West Bank and E Jerusalem that they have been illegally occupying over the last 46 years.
