I just wanted to clarify what happening related to this news story.
Israel has been in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 242 that was unanimously passed shortly after the Israeli grab for territory in 1967 Six-Day War in which Israel was ordered to withdraw from the occupied territory. The escalation of violence is to be expected as Israel continues to allow Israeli citizens to immigrate into the occupied territory in violation of International Law and Article 49 of the Geneva Conventions.
Israel likes to play the victim when in fact it is a nation of aggression in violation of UN Security Council resolutions, treaties, and international law. The Palestinians are focused on establishing peace in the formation of their own nation that Israel has denied them for decades by Israel's illegal occupation and by allowing immigration into the occupied territories. It is time for Israel to agree to withdraw from all of the occupied lands, including the Golan Heights, and for Israel to deal with the illegal immigration problem it has created.

i think gaza and the west bank should be cleared of Palestinians totally, and given to Israel to revitalize the area and make it habitable for humans.
the arabs have so much more land than the Jews and it's not fair...and Gaza and the west bank are hellholes.
the jews turned what land was given them into paradise in the desert. the arabs turned their's into hellholes mostly where women are oppressed and places for terrortits to flourish

The Jews wandered around the region for thousands of years as did the Arabs...when lines were drawn in the sand the British decided who got what and where... Egypt was the first to attack israel..and israel used this to create a buffer zone..excuse or military exercises , you choose. tuff cookies...if Egypt never attacked Israel she would not occupy the buffer zone. it's a sliver of land given to a people... Canada , America, australia new zealand, islands in the south pacify south america , islands in the Caribbean etc....all were violently gained.... it's the way of our rulers...

Yes, the lines were drawn in the Middle East at the end of WW I and Palestine was created as a territory for future self-government with the British mandated with the responsibility of developing the political knowledge of the People of Palestine so that the could govern themselves under Article 22 of the League of Nations Covenant. At that time slightly more than 80% of thepeople living in Palestine were Arab Muslims.
In 1948 the Zionist Jews used violence, force, and coercion to force between 400,000 and 600,000 Arab Muslims from their homeland. The "Nation of Israel" could not have existed without the forced expulsion of the of the Arab Muslims and the violations of the civil rights as citizens of the territory from which they were expelled. The Israeli Declaration of Independence was a declaration of war against the Arabs whose Rights the Zionist were violating. The Israeli Declaration of Independence violated the UN Charter and the United Nations was to become the "Mandatory" over Palestine with the departure of the British forces that Declaration of Independence was therefore also a declaration of war against the UN member nations.
Israel was created based upon the violation of the Rights of the Citizens of Palestine and cannot be rationalized or justified. Worse still is the invasion of Egypt, Syria and Jordan in 1967 by Israel which was an act of aggression exclusively for the acquisition of territory that several top Israeli leaders, including Mosha Dayan, later admitted.

i really think your facts are skewed to suit anti Israel propaganda. this whole zionist thing...lil over the top is it not...it's a word used only by anti jewish anti Israel people. and i think i know why you glommed over the fact Israel was attacked first...she was given the sliver of land and then attacked... how about making a thread about how yo want to go live on a raft at sea and leave America cause it was won by murdering native people.. don;t ride that cycle on those lands stolen from indians and turned into roads.... don't you can't argue about stolen lands whilst living on one Shivatd....it's hypocritical to the enth degree

I've already addressed the violations of the Rights of the Native-Americans by European immigrants in this forum in more than one thread.
The Zionist Jews were not "given" a sliver of territory by anyone. This is a common misrepresentation of UNGA Resolution 181 that was a recommendation to the representatives of the Arab and Jewish people living in Palestine to resolve the violent strife between them. It would have required the mutual consent of both parties but that mutual consent was never achieved. Neither the British or the UN General Assembly "owned" Palestine and neither had any authority to give it to anyone. Palestine belonged to the People of Palestine that even in 1948 were predominately Arabs albeit with a significantly increasing European Jewish immigrant population that the Palestinian People had never authorized.
What I, and many others, find ironic is that the Zionist Jews created a nation based upon invidious criteria which was exactly what Adolf Hitler did in Nazi Germany. Any nation established based upon race, religion, ethnic heritage, social class or other invidious criteria is inherently tyrannical and there is fundamentally no difference between Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Israel or Nazi Germany when this criteria is understood. All represent tyrannical government.
