I'm just curious about the foundation for this opinion. What has President Obama actually done?
Has President Obama vetoed funding legislation for the US government? None has crossed his desk so he hasn't done anything.
Has President Obama vetoed any legislation raising the debt ceiling? None has crossed his desk so he hasn't done anything.
He has stated his position as President and that is all but he hasn't actually done anything related to the shutdown of government or the imposing crisis related to the national debt. He has expressed a desire to address taxation and spending in the future with both Democrats and Republicans with a compromise solution but that is going to be a hard problem to resolve because there appears to be no willingness by either Democrats or Republicans to compromise on anything.
Here's my position. For every dollar in spending cuts we also need to raise one more dollar in tax revenue. We need to focus on spending cuts that don't adversely affect the American People and we need to focus on tax increases that don't adversely affect the American Dream of a Middle Class life style.
