Some people just can't handle prosperity. If President Zuma used funds to enrich his homestead then he is an example of someone who can't stand prosperity. I wonder where AH is on this?

He spend 5 million to build a kraal for his cattle. Tax payers money. Part of the security upgrade that this is claimed to be are two, TWO astro turf soccer fields. I can tell you where AH is on this, protesting loudly against the Plunderer in Chiefs disregard for the poor of my country.

It's a sad fact that this kind of thing tends to happen whenever a single party gains total dominance in an area, be it a local area or a country. Hopefully in South Africa the opposition will grow as full democracy matures, but the other unfortunate fact is that those who gain dominance tend to want to keep it, and tend to want to keep it by any means they can.

I agree the ANC is too strong, for now, but I would not call it total dominance, they are short of the 65% needed to change the constitution. Altough still relatively weak, the country has a vibrant opposition. The ANC is expected to loose support in the upcoming elections and the break away EFF will take votes to their left. The official opposition, DA is expecting to grow to 30% with some analyst predicting the ANC dropping to the 55% mark.
The elections is in 2014, so interesting times indeed.
