Have you noticed, a lot of countries are trying to get rid of American influence, mostly in favour of China and/or Russia? I wonder why that is. Perhaps they're sick of America trying to rule them.

Did anyone actually believe that countries invaded by the United States would become actual allies of the United States? It has happened (e.g. Germany and Japan) but only when the United States was actually fighing in defense of our nation when those nations attacked us first or in cases where we got our ass handed to us on a platter (e.g. Vietnam). Afghanistan never attacked the United States. Iraq never attacked the United States. Neither of these countries will be allies of the United States. Far too many of the People of these two countries were subjected to the tyranny of the US military for them ever to embrace the United States as a "friendly" nation. We didn't even leave them with good governments as the government in both Iraq and Afghanistan are as corrupt as the Russian government under Putin.
We invade their countries, kill and maim their citizens, impose corrupt tyrannical regimes to govern them. and then expect the people to like us? Seriously?
Hell, even our "allies" don't like us. Look at the Israelis!!!!
