He's claimed a win on 55% of 45% of the population. That works out at about a 25% vote - not impressive. www.theguardian.com/world/2014/may/25/petro-poroshenko-ukraine-president-wins-electionThe separatist argument goes, the election is for a president of a foreign country so no need to vote. The element that closed stations, that could be taken either way, depending on your views. A lack of polling stations is a very few words, but could mean a lot. It's clear, the separatists disrupted the vote but what isn't much mentioned is, the Ukrainian coup government's total lack of any attempt to secure polling stations in areas they know will likely vote for pro Russian candidates. Ballot papers never delivered, zero security in places they know are against their American backed coup government and no information passed to people who were in charge of polling stations. There's a lot more going on here than we are being told about by the mainstream media, most of whom are pumping out the American sewage version of the story.

My only issue is whether he's "Pro-Ukrainian People" as oppose to only be pro-some while ignoring others. A president has be be concerned with all of the people of the nation and not just a few of them.
One of the greatest problems we have in the United States is generally when someone is elected they forget that they also represent those that voted against them.
