Basically, you are saying that IF someone thinks they are being followed, they have the right to double back around, hide, and then jump out and attack the person they think is following them, breaking their nose and attacking them MMA style. You're going to be okay with that.....IF it happens to you? You're just going to lay there and let him beat you to death??? Seriously?

Basically, you are saying that IF someone thinks they are being followed, they have the right to double back around, hide, and then jump out and attack the person they think is following them, breaking their nose and attacking them MMA style. You're going to be okay with that.....IF it happens to you? You're just going to lay there and let him beat you to death??? Seriously? There was never any evidence to suggest this happened. What apparently happened was that Zimmerman, in violation of the express guideline of the Neighborhood Watch, followed Martin until the two lost visual contact with each other. Then as Zimmerman was returning to his truck and Martin was going home they accidently encountered each other again at which time a physical confrontation occurred that was a "street fight" as neither person was a trained professional that would employ MMA knowledge and skills (that in the case of "ground and pound" is based upon street fighting and not formal martial arts).
Should a person be concerned for their personal safety if someone appears to be following them for no apparent reason? Absolutely!!! There have been a few times when I thought someone might be following me at night and I took evasive action (e.g. crossed to the opposite side street) to see if they would follow me. They didn't so I made the determination that they were not, in fact, following me. Martin also appeared to attempt this but Zimmerman did continue to follow him so he had a legitimate reason to fear for his personal safety.
This still ignores the fact that millions of African-Americans, based upon personal experiences where they've been racially profiled, believe that Zimmerman racially profiled Martin that night. Their belief is based upon personal experience while "white conservative" opinions are not based upon any personal experience because whites are so rarely racially profiled that virtual no white has any experiences to draw on as a foundation for an informed opinion.
Personal Experience v Uninformed Opinion
I vote for Personal Experience.
