That looks like the 14pt font I've been editing to achieve. It's basically the same as the default on Political Forum.

Right here and I am right politically and just plain right politically or otherwise.
(P.S.Just love how that counter thing counts the words.)

I love the word counter idea, too - gives me an idea of just how overly verbose I am being! Contrary to what others might say, though, please don't blame everything on the Admin.....or on the Sunshine.....or on the Moonlight.....or on the Good times..................! guitar

I do like that it carries down internal quotations when we quote a post. It's a great function, although for the sake of the appearance of threads it will mean that people will have to be a little disciplined about including huge bits of quote that they don't need.

Sort of like PM's where sometimes we need to delete unnecessary information carried down. Perhaps a Sticky thread explaining some of the nuances of this system for members so that they know they should delete unnecessary internal quotations being carried forward. Sometimes they're very good and sometimes they're completely unrelated to the response to a post.

I was thinking of doing a 'Forum FAQ' page (as soon as I've worked out the answers to my own questions!), and I think that's probably the kind of thing I'd include in there.

I will be the first to read it...my husband says I could break a steel ball with a rubber hammer. So before I break something I will try to read the Admin's do's and don'ts ( FAQs page) of correct posting. Course knowing the Admin it will be smooth sailing. (seeking brownie points..)

But if anyone says, "Yeah but." All the yeah buts will have been covered. There is something to be said for verbosity.
