I understand it's a lot more than 20 now. These bloody idiots defile themselves, Islam and humanity with their stupidity. There can be no gain from what they do; just misery so, in my humble opinion, they should be hunted down and shot. al-Shabab, the actual group responsible, are said to have ties to AQ but are a separate group of morons, acting off their own bat. Of course, this will be cited as an example of "Muslims" by the America right but before they do, they should read this. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-24057725The majority reject their stupidity, as is commonly the case but rarely reported. Basically, *love* them and *love* all their extremist mates.

But we're not supposed to blame Muslims, huh? Got it. Former President Bush, a self-professed Christian with the backing of self-professed Christians in the Congress, ordered the invasions of two Islamic countries resulting in the deaths of between 150,000 to over 1 million innocent Muslims (depending upon what source is cited) so do we blame all Christians?
"Zionist Jews" in Israel are responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Muslims so do we blame all Jews?
Stereotyping of any group based upon the actions of a few extremists is an invalid proposition but is quite often done by those that don't think out what they're saying.

But we're not supposed to blame Muslims, huh? Got it. No one will tackle the actual words in the koran that inspire these people. there is a plethora of anti jew and christian stuff..then the whole kill an infidel and find your place in heaven...you can't water down this stuff into .."Yeah it's all about love one another" these people are following their interpretation of the words and the words do point to killing is good ...one can have sex with your slaves and captives... but i was the guy saying Romney's religion sucks as well...in the mormon book they describe God's anger at the people not following the teachings of Christ who magically taught everyone in north america the three days he was dead...after the people over here fell from the techings they had the mark put on them...which is the color of their skin... nightmare.....mormons sort of try to get away from it..i have the book of mormon and have read it... The whole point of Jesus is love and turn the other cheek...end of.

HUH?? I gave you QUOTES from those who did the killings. I didn't even make any personal comments at all!! Why are you freakin' turning this around on me? It's YOU who is doing the stereotyping. Next you'll be telling us it was workplace violence.

"While there are a number of American citizens fighting for a variety of al-Qaeda-affiliated or -inspired organizations, Al-Shabaab seems to boast the most American fighters. According to a 2011 report by the House Committee on Homeland Security, an estimated 40 Americans have joined Al-Shabaab in the last few years, at least 24 of them coming from the Somali community in Minnesota."
And now it's reported that there may be 2 Americans involved with the Al-Shabaab that slaughtered these 68 people, including 4 children....as well as injuring 175 others. In fact, one from Canada, and one or two from Britain....and other countries.
Looks like we need to do a little house cleaning in Minnesota. I can't believe Homeland Security has known this for 2 years and we haven't already done so. If Obama wants to use his NSA spying tools....I'd say it should be there.

What does Bush/Christians/ and politics have to do with this situation? This is a not about A.Q. in Iraq, its about Africa. Why compare Bush trying to kill Bin Laden to these spring off A.Q.'s extremists?
It's like comparing Obama trying to appease the Muslim brotherhood. Obama first said he was a Muslim then said he is a Christian. Should we bring up the hit Obama took in Libya and throw it in the mix?

The Islamic religion does not condone acts of terrorism anymore that Christianity.
There are always those that rationalize atrocities based upon religious beliefs but they are not representative of all of those that believe in the religion.

Is it ok to expect all Muslims to condemn such extremists or should we get used to the fact that violence is acceptable in the Muslim faith? If it was a fact but it isn't. That bunch are condemned as the bas*star*ds they are by the majority. As for waiting for all Muslims to condemn violence, why? The vast majority of Muslims aren't political and probably care less because they're too busy looking after their families and trying to live normal lives. Perhaps all Christians should condemn Joseph Kony but they didn't because most Christians don't have a clue who he is. Given that, why do you expect all Muslims to condemn these bas*star*ds?

This is a very tragic incident, and has hit all Africans hard. We are a continent with an old and diverse religious tradition. My own country has a big Muslim population that has lived here for centuries. This attack has made all of us feel vulnerable. A South African has died in the attack, and it seems at least one of the terrorists used a false SA passport to get into Kenya. And for the record. Muslims in SA has condemned this attack, loud and clear: www.ciibroadcasting.com/2013/09/23/sa-muslim-scholars-condemn-kenya-massacre/AH
