I'm so sorry, dear. Who's holding a gun to your head and making you watch Fox News? Bless your heart... do I need to come up there and help you get away from the TV??? nobody is forcing you to NOT watch pablum lies either. if you want to watch a program that literally went to court for the right to lie & distort & be one of them there low info viewers AND be proud of it, then you go girl. the problem is i don't watch fox news..she avoids debate this way as of late... and she is starting to shows signs of fraying at the seams..i never realized her sources of political opinion are from internet cartoons and fox news.. |

So to address this I don't think that anyone believes Fox News should be "silenced" but instead people have merely pointed out that Fox News, in addressing political news, intentionally censors and/or presents false information to the public for nefarious partisan reasons.
Fox News is "yellow journalism" in the 21st Century when it comes to politics and there doesn't seem to be much opposition to this fact. Even conservatives tend to admit it. It is tabloid journalism that lacks creditability for most of us following politics.
Pointing this out doesn't imply in any way that Fox News should be silenced but it certainly gives a person a reason to not believe it when it comes to politics.

that being said Sun news is alive and well...Canadian version of fox news which both air in canada and have a huge audience...
